Our Promise
Photography has been part of my life since my college years at the University of Maryland, where I photographed campus life, athletics, and student events for both The Diamondback and The Black Explosion newspapers. Those experiences taught me the importance of storytelling through images and capturing moments that matter.
At the same time, I was pursuing a degree in engineering—a path that ultimately led to a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering and a career as a researcher and technology leader. While those two worlds may seem very different, they share a common foundation: observation, precision, preparation, and attention to detail.
Today, Hood Event Photo brings those experiences together. Every assignment combines the storytelling instincts developed as a photojournalist with the technical discipline developed through decades of engineering and research. The result is photography that not only preserves memories but captures the moments, emotions, and connections that make each event unique.
