Our project centered around capturing a series of striking portraits intended for promotional material at the Black and Gold Scholarship Ball organized by the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. The portraits featured fraternity brothers and professional models against a sleek black backdrop, which added a touch of sophistication and elegance to the overall aesthetic.

Working with this diverse and talented group was an absolute pleasure. Each individual brought their unique creativity to the table, resulting in a collaborative and inspiring atmosphere. I actively participated in the creative process, immersing myself in the project alongside these passionate individuals.

To achieve the desired visual impact, we utilized a professional setup with a greenscreen background. The lighting setup involved two kicker lights, meticulously adjusted to be one full stop down from the main light source. Additionally, we used a fill light set at a down 1/3 stop, ensuring every detail was perfectly illuminated and enhancing the overall depth and dimension of the portraits.

The entire experience was not only professionally rewarding but also a testament to the power of collaboration and creative synergy. It was a pleasure to witness the fusion of talent and dedication, resulting in a series of portraits that truly captured the essence of the event and its participants.
